At last received full and final settlement letter from Norwich and Peterborough. Initial shortfall claim £24,000, house repossessed in 1992, F & F settlement for £500.00. It has been a very difficult time and has taken over my life for the past 11 years, now hopefully I can move on from it. Thanks to all those involved in this site and their help and advice by following the advice it has got me this settlement. To anyone in a similar position, it can be done but the most important thing is not to panic and don't give in to pressure make them prove their claim. Thank you again.

I always wonder how many of the lenders repay part of the tax they have claimed via write offs in old debts like yours when a settlement is made.
