please could someone leave a reply if they know a way of connecting some bike wheels to a metal axis, other than welding, because i do not have a welder. I would really appreciate this as i am incredibly stuck at the moment. i am trying to build a go-cart/ buggy and i cant get the back wheels to stay on the axis

How about threading the axle rods and making some bearings up or use the original ball bearing races of the bike wheels - get rid of the wheel axles and then use nylock nuts to bolt the wheel on to the threaded axle shafts. Anyway hope that helps.
