This non-competitive row/paddle challenge is open to any and all rowing or paddle craft. Eligible craft include, but are not limited to kayaks, canoes, rowboats, surfskis, peddle-boats, paddleboats, dinghies, wherries, and rafts. All craft must be propelled by row or paddle only. Participants of all skill levels and abilities are welcome. Choose between one, two, or three laps of a 1-mile scenic course on the open waters of the Barnegat Bay. The circular course navigates the shores along Harbor Island and Pelican Island on the bayfront of Seaside Heights. Bring friends, bring the family, and have some fun. This is a great opportunity to test your own abilities while meeting new friends. Completion souvenirs, event t-shirts, spring water, product samples, and on-site food provided by Tee-Pee Subs & Deli of Lavallette for all participants. A pre-registration fee of $25.00 per participant ($35.00 day of event) will apply. Paddlepalooza is sponsored by the all new Subaru Baja, Tee-Pee Subs & Deli of Lavallette, and RCS Signs & Designs of Manahawkin. Group discounts are available. A huge, on-site event raffle will benefit Save Barnegat Bay. Raffle items include kayak & canoe accessories donated by Carlisle Paddles, Subaru, Aqua Quest, and Paddler Magazine.
