two VCDs to play in Win Media Player. One plays fine and the other got an error: "No combination of filters could be found to render the stream. (Error=80040218)"

I have two VCDs that I play in Windows Media Player on my pc. One plays fine and the other got an error starting the 3rd song and on: "No combination of filters could be found to render the stream. (Error=80040218)"

The only difference I can tell between the two vcds is that the one that plays fine contains all individual songs and the other has medleys and the first medley starts with the 3rd song.

Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Are they factory-made VCDs? If someone made them for you, they may have used something other than a m1v/mp2 video/audio combination and you don't have the correct codec to play them.

If they are factory made VCDs, then you may have gotten a bootleg that doesn't conform to VCD video standard.
