Is there any available, worthwhile productive litrture available on this subject. I am researching for a project and any worth while comments, or information would be grately apreciated. Or has anyone any examples of situations where people with learning disabilty were educated and supported in having a healthy sexual relationship.

Most people with learning disabilities are educated and lead normal social lives, if they are given the appropriate accommodations. Are you thinking of people with severe mental retardation? In that case, your best bet is an overview textbook. You'd want to distinguish between the "educable" and "trainable" retarded. Then you might search PsycInfo using the terms "retardation" and "sexuality." You will, of course, also have to define what you mean by a healthy sexual relationship. You might find some discussions in textbooks on human sexuality.
