SARN response from Nationwide

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Repossession : One Thread

Having SARN'd Nationwide, they have replied asking for specific account numbers.

Can they do this? I though a SARN was asking for all information, and we may not want to specify an a/c number in case they limit their search.

The last 6 years addresses were included. Are they asking for this information to identify us? If so, is there another identification that could be used as an alternative in order to avoid specifying a/c nos.

Please help! Thanks in advance....

Answers

In a word: No.

Simply write back, confirming your address details and say that you want ALL information as specified in the Data Protection Act.

Might be worth checking to see if your cheque has been cashed too...
