a spokesman for the catholic church stated that the sexual orientation of one's child is it's growing up experiences, they recommend insight therapy to teach the child who they should and should not be attracted to. they also equating homosexuality with pedophilia here is the link

Answers

The equating of homsexuality with pedophilia is flatly false. As for the origins of sexual preference, it is still a matter of great and often heated debate. I would suggest, however, that you should look to the empirical evidence (and there is a lot) rather than depending on authority figures who themselves rely primarily on dogma and doctrine.
