Is it possible to resistance weld .010 Stainless Steel to .035 304 L Stainless Steel. The width of the .010 material where the weld has to be made is only .236 wide x .157. The mating part is a cylinder 1.67 dia made of .035 304L s.s. and the .010 thick part is to be welded on the outside diameter. If this is possible what would be the recommended equipment required to perform this weld. Annual production quanity is only 50,000 pcs.
