I'm new to this but am finding out alot quite quickly but have run into a problem.

Using the SVCD trick with TMPGENc I am able to play VCD's on my Sony DVP NS305 DVD player - it doesn't play SVCD as standard.

I am using NERO5.5 to burn the mpeg to VCD with standard compliant switched off.

My problem is that although the CD plays, it only plays on half the TV screen, the other half is blank.

I have tried different seetings under the "Advanced" tab but they don't seem to make a difference. My TV is PAL and I am based in Europe.

Any help would be appreicated and thanks in advance
