Using nero vision express i was able to make vcd that play properly using WMP 9 on my PC However when I play on my standalone dvd player it shows a picture that says chapter one.

use nero not express, if it is an avi file it will convert as a vcd, is you dvd player set up to play vcd's some wont..

Try to use the Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum. a)I copied from VHS to the computer with the Dazzle/Snazzi card,and I obtained one video file. b)Then I splitted in pieces no more than 220MB ,and I obtained files .MOV. c)with the R.E.CD C.5 ,create the VCD.
