Rear tire size?

All,

What is the largest rear tire size that will fit on the stock rear rim?

The largest size should be 190/50. This makes the bike a bit overtyred, and an option is 180/55 for better turn-in. This is actually supplied on on some of the range as an option. I have seen it fitted on SPRs in showrooms...

The largest tyre available generally is the 200/50 as fitted to Kawasaki ZX12Rs. This may fit the MV six inch rim, but is designed around a different bike and would really mess up the handling.

Try 190/55, this provides the same tire profile as an 180/55.

I agree with David. My F4 S EV-02 has a 180x55 on the back and my new Senna has a 190x50 on the back. The S turns in quicker and hold it's line better than the Senna.

However, for pose value the 190 is great as the handling is still better than anything else on the road.

Don't you just looove your MV?
