Want to track down a song I learnt on a train from Zagreb

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Dalmatian culture : One Thread

While travelling on a train with my guitar 15-20 years ago, a man taught me a song .....which he translated as Mama is drinking wine again. Excuse my spelling but it went something like Ootem somberoo, svega narva loo ... and had a chorus of Mama pia vino. Mama pia vino. I just wondered if anyone knew of it. Whether it was Dalmatian or not. I am writing from where I live in the Far North of New Zealand. There are many people of Dalmatian heritage that live around here. Thank-you.

Hi, the song is "U tem Somboru" and it is not a Dalmatian song. It is very nice however. This is the text.
