I'm trying to write a interpretive essay one edger allen poe's Annabell lee, and my thesis is: love is strong and will never die. what other writtings of his have the same idea? Help!

He wrote a poem called "For Annie" I'm pretty sure it's about Annabell, but it's a very good poem to support your thesis. Check it out.

The moon and the star are interchangeable symbols of the "holy eyes"(the second "To Helen") of his love, a very internalized love that is kindled deep within so that the poet can stand on the shore as his own lighthouse. The idea of will making this eternal is eerily described as well in "Ligeia". The sentimnent is absolutely obsessive and enduring but the lover dies, the coming back or the waiting is melancholy and crushing as well as hopeful. For man dies and is thus proven weak but the spirit is strong and while alive all these go together. These are all later works.
