Just a quick summary of what I've been up to for the past little while.

School has been busy. This sememster I have started to work at the audiology clinic at the university of Western. Each week I have a time slot where I work with one of the supervisory audiologists. I have had the opportunity to do hearing tests on both children and adults. I am responsible for taking the history, doing the hearing tests and writitng the final reports. The audiologist, supervises all the procedures and in responsible for all the hearing aid work. The way our program runs, at this point in time I have not yet had enough exposure to hearing aids to be able to prescribe. This whole experience has been very challenging but a lot of fun!

I have just finished my reading week. I had a chance to visit a friend who is studying at Rutgers U, in New Jersey. While I was there I went to New York City for the day. It was great. I had never been there before. So I so many of the main sites, Times Square, Empire State Building, Radio City Music Hall, Sacks 5th Ave, FAO Swartz, Late Show with Letterman, shopping, shopping, shopping.... :) In the evening we even had a chance to see a musical, Flower Drum Song. 3 of the actresses where actually Canadian, that was nice to see :) It was a wonderful trip :)

I'm back to school now.
