Back in the 50's, the Seaboard Air Line Railroad donated a decapod 2-10-0 ( engine # 544 ) to the Great State of Georgia. Does anyone know what the State of Georgia did with it?

According to Robert Johnson's book "Through the Heart of the South" #544 (which was it's SAL # - it was GM 206) is preserved as SAL 544 at Spencer NC
