CAN YOU FIT AGUSTA WHEELS ON A 2002 DUCATI 748greenspun.com : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread |
I have a 2002 748 Ducati, can't really afford the MV right now. But was wondering if the MV wheels fit on a 748. Thanks, D

Of course they wont... Can i raise up another question? I understrand that all MVs have this fading red centre stand. Im gonna buy a 2nd hand 998s soon, does the MV stand fit the ducati's rear hub or can i make any conversions?? is the stand only by MV or is it a universal type? Thanx!!!

Dza,Again, it's the difference in axle size. Some modifications will be needed before the MV (larger) rear stand fits the 998 swingarm (smaller).
Cheers!!! :)

So if I get corse style axles I would be able to put those wheels on my 748.How much are those axles?

I couldn't belive someone had this same idea...A neiman marcus w/ MV wheels...would look awsome. By the way David, Anything is possible with a motorcycle, find a corse axle and make it work. It would look too good not to.---Jesse

Im looking to do this same thing? did you ever got through with this? did it work out?

Even if a Corse axle takes care of the rear, what are you gonna do about the front? It would be much cheaper to put the latest Marchesini 10-spokes on the Duc. The new MVs will come with them and the mag versions are lighter than Oro mags.
