I think Michael Jackson has gone over the edge with insanity and as much as i would like to believe he would not sexually abuse any child nobody knows what he is capable of. He is child like which is very endearing and innocent yet he has been married he must have had sex so he is not completely oblivious to the whole notion of sex altogether. After watching the documentary my original thought was he wouldn't hurt all those kids BUT he is not a fit father himself, his own kids are in great danger of inheriting and picking up on his psychological problems. Watching him almost suffocate his baby, hang a baby from abalcony and cover his childrens faces is despicable. We can all only guess if Jacko is really a paedophile, I just him luck in his search for truth because thats what i believe he's looking for, and peace, he is a very confused, lonely and misguided gentleman.

I thought that the documentary was too intimate- however Michael Jackson has been my idol since i was a little girl. I always wanted to marry him and I love all of his songs. I never believed the allegations in 1993 were true. I think there's a lot of money involved and someone wants to get their hands on it, as Jordan Chandlers dad did. Everyone is always very quick off the mark when it comes to pinning something on someone as admittedly weird as Michael Jackson. I just wonder why Michael is being given such a hard time (he's innocent until proven otherwise by a court of law) when other people like R. Kelly who definetely have paedophile issues are left in peace?

Analysing the feature reveals a Jackson who at times appears curiously indifferent to his own children as illustrated by Bashir's documentary. This is a seriously disturbed individual who is trapped in a pre-pubescent state from which he may never have emerged. However I agree that innocence and naivete appear the hallmarks of this person. I have also read the original affidavit at smoking gun in relation to the Chandler case and it looks altogether quite possible with Jackson crying at every point when the child resists his advances. What gets me is that Jackson ostensibly filmed all this so the sheriffs surely have videotapes which were obviously not incriminating in the manner described by Chandler - or the case may have progressed surely without the plaintiff's cooperation??

In the documentary, Michael Jackson presented a kaleidoscope-like character, which seemed to shift and change with situations. Gavin and Mchael seemed generally concerned for each other and, with such a public display, the notion that Jackson has an asexual relationship with the children he sleeps with would seem to be proven.

The problem with most child-abuse 'stories' is that, somewhere down the line, money is involved. This is one of the facets that makes this unpalatable crime unique and, in the case of Michael Jackson, there apparently 37 million confirmations to just that.

Hi, I've always liked Michael's music, but became a true, admiring fan after the documentary. I never knew what to think of the 1993 accusations; i never thought it was any of my business. After the documentary, i looked a bit up into it, and i really do believe that he was plotted against. If you read this article at: http://www.81x.com/welshprince/mediamadness , you know that the father of Jordan Chandler (the accuser) was after money. It was a multimilliondar suit built on a lie. I think that it's okay for Jackson to have sleepovers with young boys- -he never had a childhood, and is living it right now. What's wrong with that? I'm still 15, and wish that I could go back to my earlier childhood already..imagine what it must be like for a 45 year old. He's admirable because he's a human like no other that has lived through a horrible accusation--> really invincible. I love his character, and no one should put down Michael, and make lies about him. Believe what you want, but you're wrong.

You are seriously deluding yourselves.

Now the authorities in Santa Barbara County, where Jackson lives in hermetic splendour on his Neverland Ranch, are coming under increasing pressure to reopen their long-dormant files on him and interview the four minors he has most frequent contact with - his own three children and a 12-year-old cancer sufferer identified in the documentary as Gavin.

To make matters worse, a deposition given by the 13-year-old boy at the centre of the 1993 child abuse allegations has just been made public, and it is not pleasant reading. The boy says Jackson had repeated sexual contact with him over a three-month period and talked about doing similar things to other boys the same age.

"The first step was simply Michael Jackson hugging me," the deposition reads. "The next step was for him to give me a brief kiss on the cheek. He then started kissing me on the lips, first briefly and then for a longer period of time. He would kiss me while we were in bed together."

He says: "Michael Jackson told me that I should not tell anyone what had happened. He said this was a secret."

The suit brought on behalf of Jordan Chandler was settled for an undisclosed sum believed to be somewhere between $23.6m and $32.7m. Prosecutors in Santa Barbara chose to leave their criminal complaint against the singer "open but inactive", and little has been heard in the affair since. Jackson has consistently refused all comment, citing the terms of the court settlement. The latest admissions about bed-sharing, however, have raised red flags with many of the same people who hurled accusations at Jackson last time around.

Gloria Allred, a celebrity feminist lawyer from Los Angeles, wrote to the authorities in Santa Barbara County last week and said: "I am hopeful that child welfare services will initiate a much-needed investigation into Mr Jackson's activities with children at Neverland."
