I made this picture by waiting for six mornings in my hide. It was a spectacular moment when this bird finally arrived at the pole I placed there myself.Technnical data: Nikon F70, Sigma 500mm 4.5, F4.5, 1/2s, Provia 100.

p.s. I can't believe how sharp the bird is for a 1/2 second exposure! Very considerate of him to remain still for so long. You were lucky to get such a shot with Provia 100F; for shooting with such a long lens I might have been tempted to go with 400F or a faster film. Nice background as well; I like the bokeh on that lens.
