I'm sorry, but your question is beyond the scope of this forum. It sounds like you need a textbook on Resistance Welding. The best book that is presently in print is available from the Resistance Welder Manufacturers Association (RWMA), which can be found on the web. There are other materials available from the American Welding Society (AWS). If your main interest is in shipbuilding, resistance welding is rarely used in that field except for spot welding the lockers, kitchen equipment and other products made from sheet metal. The ships's metal furniture and the like is typically fabricated offsite by a contractor and then installed after the hull of the ship has been completed.
