MV Agusta owners clubs in the States? : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread

Are there any Mv Agusta owners groups in the States? It would be nice to find fellow Agusta riders that like to get together for rides or annual events.

Yeah I would be interested in knowing that too.

I'm not aware of one. However, an MV Agusta rally would be great. I think we'd have to one for each coast. They aren't touring bikes, ya' know. :)

How about a tentative get together during the World Super Bike weekend?

Now you are talking. WSB weekend is a good opportunity for us MV owners to get together. As far as any clubs go, I think it is a great idea. Could you imagine all those bikes together ripping through the canyons and mountain passes! What a kick that would be. I'm in Nevada, close to Lake Tahoe, not too far from Sacremento or the bay. We should look into this.

I would be up for WSB weekend! Wouldnt even mind getting something going here in Arizona too. It would be even better if there was an MV Agusta Owners Club website for us in America

I can round up at least 2-3 SENNA owners...myself included, for the WSB races @ Laguna Seca (aka mazda raceway) this summer. I know Greg in Nevada is in, and Larry Wolf from Texas (soon to be SF,Ca)......all ya gotta do is by the first round of beeeeeers!!!! me a spot on yer trailer for the ride back!

I usually go to that race every year. Missed this last one though, too bad. But I did get to see Bostrom go on his romp in 2001 though, what a delight.

I may or may not make it this time. I was thinking of trailering my bike up there in November but the weather wasn't going to be good. We'll see how it goes. I'm going to be doing more racing this year and it ain't cheap at all.

I think this is a great idea for the club. We could have a newsletter, owners club patch/pin, meetings (local/national). Club members could meet at other Motorcycle Meets and discuss Mv's. I think this would be pretty cool. Brett

The MV Owners Club of Great Britain has members all over the world. Many in the US. The club attends most of the big bike events in Europe through the summer. Regular chances to meet some of the MV legends, many of whom are either Patrons or honory members. Agostini, Read, Hailwood jr, Sandford....and others. The guy looking for parts for his 175 racer (dicovolante?) should seriously consider joining - the club baught up the factorys parts when they finaly closed the doors in the 80's. You have to be a member to benefit from the spares section.

See for more details.

Sorry only european meetings/events at present - but anythings possable.

Will, Like the America - I think they made a few more than 100 - also the Ferari of motorcycles is actually a 'Ferari' - this was built by Dave Kay and his son Mark and is based in the MV 4 cyclinder engine and the use of the name was authorized by Ferari themselves.I believe it is currently available at £150,000 if anyone is interested.
