Do wide angle lenses work well on Mini DV's? Much obliged if you could recommend a good wide angle lens for a Sony DCR TRV27. Thanks.

Sad to say, I've not been able to find a Widescreen Adapter that can fit Sony's consumer line of cameras ( I have TRV18 ). If you find one let me know. Remember that it's probably going to cost you over $500.

That guy didn't answer your question right. He is talking about something totally different. And yes, wide angle lenses do work very well on miniDV's. Depending on your cameras threads though. But century Optics makes great wide angle lenses. So does kenko, and some others.

Raynox makes some good wide angle lenes for camcorders.
