Is it possible that Long Island will be completely covered by water oneday.. or completely eroded?? if so how long would that take???

my dear freind, long island is going to be covered by water oneday, but it is not going to be an overnight thing, it takes time for the island to be completely covered, i don't know exactly how long, it will depend on the gravitational effects of the moon and erosion.
