new to this forum, but thought i'd have a go

took this photo at a beach near my home (NZ) and was wondering what general opinion ppl would have of it?

Interesting lighting, and good composition. I think the only thing I'd change is to crop out the blades of grass along the lower left edge of the frame. Looks like you got a bit of flare as well to the upper right (orange circle); a good shade (like holding a hat over the camera) would have eliminated it.
