Ok, I have mac OS X.1.4 and need serious help in dvd ripping and tv capture. Are there any programs or techniques fof Os X that can convert DVD to VCD? or any tv capture devices/ programs?

VCDTOOLSX is what you are looking for. It's the only Mac X program I've found to do conversions. And it's Free!http://www.sbpr.a.se/vcdtoolsx/
