No problems yet!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread

Hi All, After reading about so may MV owners with minor problems, I was just wondering if anyone out their has had a MV with no problems at all. I have 3,500 miles on mine and have not had one single problem to date! Am I the only lucky one? Hope not! This board is great to find solutions for problems so don't get me wrong. I love the team work for problem solving. Just wondering if anyone else has a problem free bike? Thanks

Sigh. I wish I could join this group. But I've had some minor problems. HOWEVER, the problems haven't diminished the enjoyment of the MV one bit! :)

2002 Senna 1800 miles, only have a leaky waterpump to complain about, otherwise...EVERYthing else makes up for that little problem!!

Congrats to Larry Wolf on taking delivery of SENNA #009!!! Years of enjoyment for all of us to come!

Happy Holidays

2000 F4s Alarm developed a fault, back brake goes spongy hang a weight on it overnight and it's ok again. If it's left for a while petrol goes off and it runs rough, top the tank up and it's fine again.

I had a freak accident sort of problem happen with a certain part on the bike that wasn't MV's fault, so I'm going to keep that to myself.

My bike seemed to have loose headers. The right half weren't torqued properly. Possibly a bike built on Monday? Who knows...

After I got the pipe and chip replaced, a very mysterious engine cutout problem disappeared. After that, no problems at all in about 2500 miles.

I've had some brake issues, but this weekend at the track I didn't cook the brakes like I did last time. I didn't even check the rear brake because I don't use it at the track. Full track report to follow at some point.

2002 MV Senna #152. My problems have been minor, a leaking water pump and front fork seal, both replaced under warranty. The bike has approx. 1400 miles and seems to get better with each one.

2001 1+1 with 23,000k (14,000 miles) with no major problems. Burnt lower fairing which is hopefully being sorted by the importer. Bike has run perfect on commuting, track days and even a 22 hour non-stop jaunt around New Zealand.
