Approaches to psychology can be broken down in many different ways, but probably what's involved here is behaviorism, psychoanalysis, humanistic psychology ("third force"), and existential or transpersonal psychology. You might find it interesting to run the phrase "fourth force" on the web for discussions of the possibilities.
