Desperately Seeking San Francisco SPCA Historical Stuff!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : San Francisco History : One Thread

We need your help! If you have any SF/SPCA memorabilia, artifacts, or old photographs, we'd like to borrow them. We are creating an historical exhibit for display at San Francisco City Hall to celebrate our 135 years of progressive programs and life saving achievements.

The SF/SPCA is fortunate to have Gladys Hansen, Archivist, for The San Francisco Museum and Historical Society as our curator. The exhibit is scheduled to run February through April 2003.

Head for the attic, garage, your closets and drawers see what you have from the SF/SPCA. An old uniform, cap, badge, doctor's operating instruments, horse harness, old annual reports and documentation, anything and everything that traces our years of existence would make a terrific addition to our landmark exhibit. Feel free to contact us at publicrelations@sfspca.org. if you have items to loan. You will receive credit for anything that is used in the exhibit.
