Is it me or does this number seem very excessive for a so called exclusive exotic.Is this the norm when the factory made the other f4s,i realise that not all of the bikes will be the f4s but i think at least half of them will. What do you think,would the values of the f4s plummit boyh new and used,and will be come as common as my mates R1 or Duke, i wonder. I cant help but thinking 120 is alot of MVs in a single day or am i wrong.

I don't think Ducati even makes that many per day. It comes to over 30,000 bikes a year if they work 5 days a week every week. That must be a mistake.

120 bikes a day for all the bikes in the Cagiva group, which includes scooters (they make and sell loads in Italy every year, even with the recent drop in sales). Loads of 125cc bikes, trailies, off road stuff - most of which we never see over here, it is for their home market. It really doesn't leave much room for MVs, especially when MV production is to be split between the Brutale, F4S, SPR, monos and BP's. Resale values will only stabilise and/or rise if the factory folds completely. Unless you own a serie oro, that is.

Seems to me, based on the number of scooter sales at my local dealer, that scooter sales are starting to pickup or are already quite strong.

Perhaps Cagiva should strengthen their marketing efforts in the U.S. They (sort of) have brand recognition within the motorcycle community with the MV Agusta and should capitalize on it.

Then again, not having a CA legal MV Agusta model doesn't make too much business sense either, considering the strenght of the CA motorcycle market.

Anyone have $400 million I could borrow or how about a group buy? :)
