installing OS X on external hard diskgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Mac Troubleshooting : One Thread |

In order for the disk icon to appear on the desktop, the driver software has to be in the system folder so that the removable disk icon may appear on the desktop and can be selected as the "installation destination volume". Unlike all previous OS installation CD's, where the CD doesn't have to be the start-up disk, and one can select the destination disk or volume, the OS X CD must be the start-up disk before the installation can be made. So how in the world can one install the OS X on an external hard disk? Am I correct in concluding that it can only be installed on the intern
