I have read many articles over the years about the old NS in Durahm NC. One of these is Model Railroader's "South Durham on the NS" done in the early 70's. Recently surfing the internet I ran across sites dedicated to the American Tobacco Company building and the former NS right-of-way trail. I would like to collect some info and photographs on the Southern operation from 1974-1987 and the SW1 and other rolling stock used for future model railroad.
