.I was a sometimes regular here before everyone went to the new board. I never posted on the new board but read some post.I don't read there much anymore . There's a couple other old regulars who phase in and out on this board.

I don't speak much politics .Freedoms, I have plenty to to say about .

Politics is a game I don't understand .It doesn't seem to be a system that has much reasoning to it .You have 2 major political parties. You pick one and hate the other political party with passion. And see the people who voted for the opposite party as ignorant or as the opposition. One party wins , ones party looses in an election that seems to have the same energy as a football game.

It's the same country .One nation under God. Why don't the political parties work as one .Isn't the goal the same ? Domestic tranquility for all it's citizens.

Now freedom I understand pretty well. I at least have the basics down. But what good is having freedom if people have become so complacent and dependent on industrialized , government subsidized jobs ? Being helplessly and totally dependent for the necessities needed for sustaining their life and culture on .

I believe freedom hasn't been used by the majority of the U.S. population in so long , it's become a use limb that might need to be amputated one day .

Hi Max, Freedom is pretty much over now w/ the passage of the Patriot act and other "Homeland Security" ideas. I'm not sure I believe the parties are supposed to work together if their real goals are in such opposition to each other. I agree, it's getting harder than ever to tell 'em apart anymore tho.
