writting a college paper on the philosophy of psychology

hi, i am writing a 1200 word paper on the philosophy of psychology for my college. i haven't gotten started yet since i have no real guideline as to how to begin. we have been learning about descartes dualism and i believe that i can use him as a source, but i'm really not sure. i would like some guidance and suggestions on how to begin. i believe once i get started i can continue and finish successfully on my own. please contact me. i need help

I especially like the MacLeod book, and his discussion of "doctrines of man" that examines the major theories of human nature. And I come back to Dan Robinson's summary over and over again, because it makes so clear the connection between ancient philosophical questions and current psychological research.
