2.0.21 "...error (5:Invalid procedure call..."

I am running version 2.0.21 and also am receiving the error message: "NHB is experiencing an unexpected error (5:Invalid procedure call or argument) problably related to this file:...."

You state that patch 2.0.18 fixes this, so it seems the most recent rev has the bug again. Would you please let me know when you have posted a new patch?

Hi Mark.

Yes, I thought I had fixed that one... Could you please email me the details of the file(s) that NHB can't copy? I'm hoping to fix it. Thanks for reporing.

Have you tested the new 2.5 beta. That one is programmed to ignore all possible errors and put the in the backup log.

I am having the same problem actually. I am trying to backup web directories and some directories are created with frontpage, it creates directories like _vti_cnf. I downloaded the patch, but it still comes up with that error when it tries to backup any files within. The folder was hidden but I changed that, to no avail.

Ok all, spoke too soon... thanks to Mark I checked out other downloads. I downloaded beta version 5 2.5 and it is backing up everything as we speak. Nice nice nice work Anders, if I had a credit card I would pay you, have you any other methods? I too am a programmer, Delphi 5 if it helps or some disk space?

I am still having problems with this error. I am using beta 2.6. It simply reports the error and terminates the program. This occurs while backing up a mapped drive to a server. It also occurs when backing up the temp directory, speciffically some bitmaps.
