Can you get replacement parts for JVC Camcorders? I think that I messed up the power board (someone hooked up an adapter with too high of a voltage) and I'm pretty sure it fried it. Any help appreciated

If you need something for your JVC Camcorder, you should try going to Partsolver.com. I got a battery from there, and it seemed like they had everything else too.

I need help, I lost my charger to my camcorder JVC model number gr- sxm250, the model number for the ac adapter is ap-v11u. I have ordered 2 from jvc and neither one has worked, they sent me model numbers ap-v13u and ap-v10u. I tried a universal charger when I lost mine, do you think I might have fried the camcorder when I did this? It seems to me that at least one of the chargers they sent me should have worked. How do I know if Ive ruined my camera??
