If someone has had a FVFG that is succesful (meaning that the bone is alive and strong) but the pain is still bad enough to warrent a hip replacement, can you get hip resurfacing rather than a THR???

Also, is the any information available about hip resurfacing?

Answers

Probably not because the transplanted fibula is too hard to drill the hole for the resurfacing stem.
