How many of you hunt squirrel? If you do, what is the best way of cooking them? Mine always seem to be tough. Tillerbill

My mom used to soak them in salted water for awhile, then she cut them up and fried them like chicken.

Marinate in water,salt , vinegar, bay leaves,and add what ever spices you like,galic & onion powder ,cumin , basil.Keep it over night in the frig. Stew it the next day until the meat slips off the bone.I wouldn't eat the brains ( a hillbilly delicacy)they were said to have the eqiuvalent of mad cow disease ?
