Not an answer, but a question. Can somebody please, please tell me how you go about curing your own ham? I live in Utah and know of no one who does this. Thanks in advance for any info about this!

I just cured my first one. I used my Dad's recipe and it turned out great. He would have been proud. Anyone know where to get bags for hanging. I used an old tee shirt this time, but it won't take long to run out of tee shirts.

Oh ! this thread's about pork. When I saw the title: Curing Country Ham, I thought it was going to be about a country western singer in a alcohol recovery institute. After ready the post ,I realized it's about the other hams.
