Oracle Processes

greenspun.com : LUSENET : DBAzine : One Thread

In Windows 2000 environment, the only process running for Oracle database will be "Oracle.exe". All Oracle processes will be within this file as they share a single address space.

My problem is, when i log on to windows 2000 and switch on the task manager, i see three processes running for oracle. That is "Oracle.exe " three times. Each process is consuming different amount of memory.

Is this a problem or not? can u please give me some suggestions on this?

i think you have three databases running on that machine and each process in task manager refers to a db.
