greenspun.com : LUSENET : CountrySide Family : One Thread

planted some radish this year,, came up fine, ,but I didnt pick it,, so, its going to seed. Is starting to develope some seed pods. Has anyone collected their own radish seeds? ANd if so, is the pods what I want,, when they dry?

In part of the free "bee stuff" that I aquired,,, is an uncapping knife,,, steam knife. If anyone is interssted, let me know,, if not,,Ill be putting it up on ebay,, seems most beekeeping stuff goes pretty well on there,, and since I dont need it,, why not. But , if you need/want one,, let me know,, before it goes on ebay,,,,

Stan, I don't need or even know what that type of knife is but I do have a question regarding E-Bay. I buy/bid alot on e-bay but I've never put anything up for auction. What have been your experiences with them? Is it hard to list items, get paid, etc? I have a business PayPal account and a ProPay account so that part is already in place. I read about them raising the listing fees and wondered how to go about pricing items if I decided to try it. As an example if I needed $5.00 out of an item where would I start the bidding in order to make my cost plus the fees? I know you don't start the bidding with the full price but that's about all I know. Any hints would be appreciated. Thanks.

I ahve sold things,, mostly, "free" things,, and I base my price,, on what has sold before. Do a search, before you list things,, and find out what they are going for, BEFORE you list it.

IF this is a new item,, it may not help you,, but cant hurt to search.

PAYPAL< and the such, offer alot more bids,, but you give up some things also,, like giving you CC # to "other" people.

If you want "at least" something for an item, you need to factor in, ALL costs ALL OF THEM.

I'm interested in your uncapping knife. Did you ever post it on ebay or do you still have it?
