Okay GS&F fans, here are two questions. Hopefully this will get our forum stirred up.

1] What was the Quickstep and when the GS&F began running it?

2] When did the GS&F or Southern Rwy cease passenger service over the GS&F?

As to part one, I can answer promptly. I don't know.

As to part two, the "Royal Palm", trains 3 and 4, were discontinued south of Atlanta in the fall of 1967. I do not know the exact date. The trains are in the August, 1967, timetable and are gone (south of Atlanta) in the December issue. This, to my knowledge, was the last regularly scheduled passenger service on the GS&F.
