Hi, Why cant I use this network address as a destination folder?

\\Pdc-server\Install-Files\Chris-Zip\dl

or am I doing something reall stupid?

I had the same problem with my network address. A work-around I found was to map the network destination directory, and then bingo...worked fine. However, this is a problem if, like me, you can't reconnect to that back-up destination every start-up. Kind of defeats the "NO-HANDS" feature, especially if you try to set- up the scheduler. Hi Tim, After I posted the Q. it dawned on me that perhaps I could map a drive and folder to a box in the network. Lo and behold, like you it worked. (I am lucky insofar that we have a private network and the bkup disc is open to all, all the time). Chris
