Probably needs CO2 setting correction? It is not just higher idle speed. Got the exhaust modified? Get yourself another dealer then?

2000 bikes were subject to a recall to replace throttle bodies. One of the problems the recall cured was 'cutting out'. You will know if yours has been done by a blob of blue (or is it yellow?) paint on the visible part of the thottle body on l/h side. Bill

There is a tiny (and very sensitive!) potentiometer nect to the EPROM chip in your ECU. This adjusts the CO at idle, I have also experienced this problem when I had my bike on the dyno, I am running the standard EPROM with Casoli modified pipes which gives a good A/F ratio throughout the range, but these biked do tend to need to run a bit rich (3.5-4.0% CO)at idle to prevent this cutting problem. Hope you have fixed it and enjoy!
