AB&C freight cars

I model the late 1920s in Northeast Ohio and would like to add an AB&C boxcar to my fleet. Does anyone know of any commerically produced cars or decals? Does anyone have any tips for modeling a typical AB&C car?

Thanks for your help!

The two easiest AB&C cars to model are the USRA single-sheath boxcar (the railroad had 200, series 27000-27199) and the USRA gondola (150 cars, 58000-58149). If I remember correctly, Tichy does the boxcars and Walthers has the gons (in HO). You'd have to do your own lettering, but the AB&C in the 20s used simple Railroad Roman initials on these cars and no herald. Another good bet would be the Tichy 40' flatcar, which is close to the AB&C 12001-12100 series. The other most common AB&C car would have been its fleet of 36-foot wood boxcars. I am not sure who makes a close match for that - maybe the MDC "old-time" boxcar? My AB&C book has photos and other data on all these cars and others. Will be glad to offer additional help off list if you wish.
