well,, while watching he birds today. The 2 that got hatched out earlier this year,,,were "fighting",, squared off to each other,, and hackles raised,, jumped up and hacked at each other. Evem saw one that mounted one of the banties. Though they are both being picked on,, low end of the chain. I beleive both are roosters. Thats what I need.. to go from xeero roosters,, to 2 !!!. Was hoping at least one was a hen. Couple more weeks, and one will go into the pot,, as long as the one that Im not sure of IS a rooster. BEside the crowing, whats the easiest way to tell?

Combs on most will be larger, although I have two hens that I thought were roosters due to the combs being so big. You're lucky, I've got 17 roosters at least until this weekend then it's so long to at least 14 of them. I wanted to wait to butcher until the weather cooled but they are getting to aggressive toward the hens, ducks & even the geese!
