Strong resemblence to my Uncle Per.

This is a lie perpetrated by anti-religious liberals. Carbon dating doesn't work.

All of Creation happened only 6,000 years ago, so nothing could possibly be older than this except God Himself.

Chad? Is that in Florida?

-- (im@so.confused), July 10, 2002.

I don't know if Chad is in Florida or not. Of course, the only Chad in Florida I've ever known was a bouncer at the "Islander" nightclub. Ft Lauderdale, Oakland Park Blvd, back in the early 80's. A raunchy stripper bar. I was a wee lad then, so much more full of piss and vinegar.

I seem to remember hanging chads in Florida. Or were they dimpled?

So repug, are you trying to say that this is God's skull that they found?

Chad, as Z could no doubt tell us, is a "developing" nation in north-central Africa.

The "astonishing" skull is simply the latest "truth" vouchsafed to us by SCIENCE and is not to be mistaken for an absolute truth. There are no absolute truths, merely an endless procession of momentary approximate truths that are somewhat useful at a given time. The approximate truths are established at a rate proportional to our willingness to fund research.

You can (with the appropriate introductions and all) pick up the skull in your hand and heft it. That is the absolute truth, Lars.

No, that must be considered mutable. It is true today. How do you know it will be true tomorrow?

-- (lars@indy.et), July 11, 2002.

You can't deal with the truth!

Bwahaahawaha.
