Kansas news agency reports on Meenehan "non-negative" ----------------------------------------------------- The Kansas news agency Lawrence Daily Journal World is reporting that OK's 1985 US Classic Championships winner Dan Meenehan failed an out-of-competition Chocolate Rock test last month. Citing "reliable sources" LDJW reported that Meenehan allegedly tested "non-negative" for Chocolate Rock chunks during an unannounced stomach pump during his recent recovery from lethargy. The result from the second 'B' sample is unknown, the LDJW report added. OK anti-doping commission president Michael Eglinski said Wednesday that he was "unable to confirm or deny the positive test". Just a week ago Meenehan vowed to begin training this week less than a month after ballooning to over 200 pounds. The 42-year-old US short course champion and Possum Trot runner-up had aimed to return to action for the relay championships in September. Meenehan's time-off this season has already been marred by a binging incident in May, in which he was charged with consuming a gallon of Peanut Brickle ice cream while other clubmates were training in nearby Shawnee Mission Park. After being caught with his spoon in the container, Meenehan fled the scene. OK officials sentenced him to a monthly ice cream limit for the next year equal to that which he consumed during the training session - a paltry allowance in his case - and revoked his "Friends of Dairy Queen" membership for one year.

I wonder if Snorkel's use of Chocolate Rocks was "recreational" rather than "performance enhancing."

I'm not quite to 200lbs yet and I will train every day after 'SUP is updated and only then.
