Curled tomato leaves

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Style Homesteading : One Thread

I have about 8 out of more than 100 tomato plants, that are looking a might strange. They're much smaller, and the leaves are curled up. We've had way too much rain this year, they were put out last and they are in a wetter part the tomato patch. The stems are sturdy and the plant is green, not yellow or brown.

Any suggestions as to what this might be or what to do about it, and will it spread if it's a disease, I didn't see any bugs on the plants. Thanks

ok, master gardeners class has finally paid off,,,,, its either too much water,, you can "test" the soil for that, if its real wet, and if you ball it up, it stays in a ball. Or, the is a fungus that just effects nightshade plants, maters, taters, green peppers,, if it is thius fungus,, NOTHING gets rid of it, thats why crop roatation is a MUST with nightshades. ONly test for this is a soil analysis for the fungus. Hopefully it isnt the fungus and is just too wet conditions.
