Well, I have a home office. I am not the neatest person in the world. I decided to clean it out. How long has it been? Well, I found the manuals for version 4.0 of MS Word. I carefully put them in a garbage bag and went about other things. Some noise caught my attention and I turned around. Pup had eaten most of the quick reference guide. I got the end out of his mouth before he ate the staples. Now that he has loaded MS Word, I expect him to crash. ;<))) Last week, he ate part of the throw rug in the living room and has been crapping rug all over the yard. I expect to see pieces of MS wisdom all over the yard in the near future.

Funny thing happened this morning. As usual I got up at 4:00 am read the news [accessed through AOL with a dial-up modem] and did some work. After breakfast, I came back to print some copies of recent legislation for a morning meeting [you have heard of the Bioterrorism Preparedness Act of 2001]. I tried to access AOL and there was nothing. After a short investigation, I found that they had changed all of the dial-up numbers between 4 and 8 this morning. Gave me a chuckle.
