Gardening Mistakes

Well I guess I'll find out how well Silver Queen corn does as a trellis for cucumbers. Seems I lanted them in the same row-sorta.

Anyone discover anything great-accidentally?

BTW, I really appreciate the daily herb listings.

Cindy, it might work out, that is the Indian way of planting, ya know. Corn with squash (another cucurbit)on the ground, and beans running up the stalks. Planted this way they're called the 3 sisters. Unless you tie them up, they'll stay and shade the ground, might even improve that corn!

Heck yea. Go read my "lazy butt" garden post on Homesteading today homestead board :>) BTW I always use corn for runners. It worked great for my cukes and luffa last year.
