15 years is a good length of time for a hip replacement to last. There are a variety of symptoms that may go along with the hip loosenening or failing. This could present as groin pain or thigh pain. It may bother more with the first few steps and then decrease as you continue walking. Any clicking or instability should be looked into. Be sure to see an orthopaedic surgeon for x-ray follow- up.
